UNIVERSAL FACILITIES BACK OF HOUSE ARTWORK
I’ve worked with the Univeresal Orlando Facilities team to develop back of house art work throughout Universal Epic Universe back of house areas. All of the pieces are inspired by the park and IP throughout the worlds. Our process would include the development of multiple concept sketches or mockups and moodboards for each space. After approval of a direction, I worked closely with either an illustrator or designer to produce the finished artwork and finally with the vendor to install.

BLUE DRAGON
Inspired by the outdoor signage of the Blue Dragon restaurant at Universal Epic Universe in Celestial Park, this mural was created for a conference room inside the Food and Beverage Office Building. The below moodboard and sketch were created to share the concept with the client and the given to an illustrator to create the final artwork. I worked closely with the illustrator, Brian Nutt, meeting with him throughout the process to ensure the desired look was created.
CONSTELLATIONS
This mural was inspired by an in-park ceiling mural of constellations of the various gods that appear throughout Celestial Park. I had sketched the example below to give direction to the illustrator who then illustrated the new interpretation of the art.
